Physical therapy (PT) is care that aims to ease pain and help you function, move, and live better. Physical therapy can relive pain, improve mobility and ability, prevent or recover from a sports injury, prevent disability or surgery, rehab after a stroke, accident, or injury, manage chronic illnesses, recover after a mother gives birth, control bowel and bladder, recover after/during cancer treatments, adapt to an artificial limb, and learn to use an assistive device.
Adults need therapy too. Dizziness, neurological rehab, orthopedic care, gait training, athletic injuries, post surgical care, women's health, and so much more can be cared for with physical therapy.
Athletes actually can benefit from therapy too. Athletes of all ages from grade school to college age can and will benefit from physical therapy.
Did you have an accident at work and become injured? Attending physical therapy can help bring you back to your job faster!
Even kids can benefit from attending physical therapy. Walkables, gait trainers, use and education in special equipment, managing chronic illnesses, promoting gross motor skills in infants and children and so much more can be cared for here.
Therapy can benefit everyone across all ages!
